General Terms and Services
Trial-size illustrations and charts are prepared as 30"x40" illustration prints mounted on foam boards, and are delivered in lightweight cardboard portfolio boxes with string closures. Smaller illustrations and letter-size illustrations for powerpoint presentations, bench books or settlement brochures can also be provided in digital or printed format. Written cost estimates are provided in advance for approval on most non-rush cases, with prices based on a seven-day minimum preparation period per illustration. Less than a one-week notice is considered a rush (two-weeks on complicated or multiple injury illustrations), but can usually be accommodated, although rush rates may be applied and verbal estimates and approval may be required. The final cost will not surpass the maximum figure of the written estimate.

Customized Medical Illustrations
Preparation of these illustrations requires receipt of the medical records, including: Operative Reports; Diagnostic Test Reports; Radiology Reports and actual X-Ray, MRI and CT Scan films when applicable (for example, all fracture depictions absolutely require films); Hospital Admit and Discharge Summaries; and relevant physician's letters or notes. The written cost estimate is prepared after thorough review of the case records and films, and will generally describe what anatomical views are to be used and what the main text labels will say or describe, in order to adequately document the case. Customized Medical Illustration prices are based on an hourly preparation fee plus a materials expense, and many common illustrations fall within the $550-$850 price range.

Standardized Medical Illustrations
The available selection of standardized (generic) medical illustrations changes regularly as new subjects are added to the collection as needed. Subjects include: Localization of Function in the Brain; Carpal Tunnel Syndrome; Thoracic Outlet Syndrome; Cervical and Lumbar Medial Branch Neurotomies; Sacroiliac Joint Fusion; and more, with prices ranging from $300-$500.

Prints of X-Rays
Positive or negative prints of x-rays or other films are mounted on foam board and are available in various sizes. They can be colorized to highlight a particular condition or injury, and are often used as part of the larger illustration.

Accident Scene Reconstructions
Accident Scene Reconstructions and Site Depictions are 1/4" or 1/8" scale drawings used to recreate the stages or site of an accident. Vehicles or other forms are created in movable static-cling vinyl, which sticks to the polyester overlays or a laminated surface.
